Incredible. The food was fresh, and full of flavor, every dish was amazing. What truly stood out, was Oscar, the owner. Hands down the most genuine and welcoming person I’ve encountered in the restaurant world. You don’t just eat here - you’re looked after. Can’t recommend it enough.

My boyfriend and I were truly amazed by the service and food here Walking in, we were warmly taken in by our hosts. They told us to feel at home, as if we had a choice! This is what hospitality looks like. Truly lovely couple who are passionate about what they do and the food and atmosphere they provide! You won't see kindness like this in many places. The decor is beautiful, an homage to the beautiful Cuban culture! Love the records, couches and vintage gear all around. The food... wow. Easily in the top 10 meals I've had and I'm a picky eater that isn't easily impressed. That being said, I'm a cilantro lover and this is the place to indulge in it. -Quesique Appetizer: I wish I could have this for every meal, every day. Absolute perfection, the sweet and salty mix of this dish is delectable. The mango and cilantro sauce compliment the soft cheese so well. I was joking with my boyfriend, if I had no shame, I'd lick the plate clean and order another two so we could each have our own. -Pollo Mambo: The chicken was so tender and the flavors were an explosion of perfection! Loved the carrot ribbons and the sesame seeds added that extra something. The rice martini glass is so cute, and the rice was so flavorful and hearty. -Benny More: This was my boyfriends dish but we shared some of our own plates with each other. Perfectly seared pork strips, flavorful crust on them. Sauce was out of this world. The potatoes were cooked to crispy perfection, and the seasoning almost made me cry. Mojito 10/10, very herbal and minty. And on top of all of that, affordable?! When can we move in?! Thank you so much for such a lovely experience!

Fantastic all around. We had Habana Roll and Seafood Pasta. Both were exceptional. Great host, and atmosphere. You must go here, even though it may be a little off the "square".

For me one of the best restaurants you can visit. Best prices and lovely owners. Oscar and his wife are honest and really friendly. Caring about every guest and the are speaking perfect English. Perfect for US people. Nowhere you will have fresh authentic food like here. Gracias por todo, Yo lo bendiga mi papacho

Absolutely amazing both for the owners and the food. So passionate about their food and country, and you can feel it. We enjoyed our lunch and the lovely conversation. The pictures don’t do the food justice: just try! I had the cevifish as a main, and my friend had the barbarito which is a sizzling beef with plaintain

Walking in felt like being home. The owner/chef greeted us and sat down with us to tell us his backstory and ask us about ourselves. He was very nice and funny. The food was amazing and as a Cuban, it made me homesick. The ropa vieja was delicious. If they weren't closed the rest of my time here, I would definitely go again, and suggest everyone who is in Guatape go there for the amazing atmosphere, great owner, and even better food. Don't miss it!

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service. Can’t fault it and our favourite meal of our 6 month trip so far. Oscar and his wife made the experience and we felt so welcome from the moment we sat down. The coconut lemonade was SENSATIONAL - I’ve never had anything like it. I highly recommend the fish ceviche - so zesty and full of flavour - my partner had the pollo lomo which he also loved.

I would give them 376 stars if I could! Oscar and his wife were welcoming me and my wife and their greeting is so warm! Food is great all around, ceviches has their own taste which makes it so good. Salads and drinks are solid 10/10. I would go to them again and again! Try the mango shake made with milk and their Cuban coffee.
